I have known my friend Debbie for the past 22 years. We were neighbors many years ago in Highland. Liz and her son Mark were born just 5 days apart from each other. Her husband and Juan worked together at NIPSCO. I have always enjoyed Debbie's company and been thankful we have remained friends.
Of course living in Fishers, I don't get a chance to see or talk to Debbie like I use to. We e-mail from time to time in between all the running around we both do.
Debbie called last week and asked if I would be free as she was attending a speech conference in Indy and wanted to go to dinner. Not only was I available that night, but I also have a spare bedroom so invited her to stay.
We talked and talked like to two school girls. It was non-stop. And a ton of fun!
Thanks Debbie, for all these years of friendship and for a great evening. As is tradition, guests in Fishers are required to have their picture taken on the front porch.
We have many weekends open this summer for more guests.
